Welcome to the Headache Symposium 2023 in Bern

On Thursday, November 30, 2023, the Swiss Headache Society SHS cordially invites you to the 15th Headache Symposium, which will take place from 11:00 to 17:00 at the Inselspital Bern, Auditorium Maurice E. Müller.

The Scientific Committee has put together a multi-faceted and interesting program revolving around the eminently important topic of “Chronic Headache”. We are delighted to welcome two internationally renowned experts, Professor Lars Bendtsen from Denmark and Professor Gisela M. Terwindt from the Netherlands, as keynote speakers. In addition to the main sessions, we would also like to invite you to our industry partners' symposium that transports news about the treatment of migraine in brief “flash sessions”.

Of course, there will also be room for informal social exchange during our coffee and lunch breaks, and the award of the Hansruedi Isler Prize followed by an apéro at the end of the symposium. The SHS General Assembly will be conducted from 17:00-18:00.

Given the prevalence of headache disorders and the associated disease burden, the program targets a large medical community ranging from neurologists and headache specialists to family physicians, general doctors and residents. We hope that across this range you will find the programme interesting and relevant and decide to join us for this event. For the first time in 2023, all SAYN members can register for the Headache Symposium free-of-charge.
